Craft Along with Us!

We are launching 3 Knit-alongs (KALs) and a Crochet-along (CAL) -- in person, with a Zoom option as well! We hope you'll join us to discuss your projects and share your progress.

Cost to join is $30 per KAL or CAL, and includes 15% off yarn purchased for your project. Purchase your KAL/CAL membership in store or online.

Festival of Stitches Shawl KAL (pattern by Lisa Hannes, KAL hosted by Sue)
Saturdays, 10-11am: February 18, March 4, 18, and 25

Materials:
Needles: US 4 circular needles, at least 47" long.
Yarn: Fingering weight yarn in 3 contrasting colors (solid/semi-solid recommended), 400 yards each.

Pressed Flowers Cardigan KAL (pattern by Amy Christoffers, KAL hosted by Cindy)
Saturdays, 1:30-2:30pm: February 25, March 4, 18, and 25

Materials:
Needles: 16" circulars, 30" circulars, and DPNs in US 3 and US 5 (or whatever sizes give you the pattern gauge).
Yarn: Sport weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors, MC: 900-1600 yards, CC: 550-1300 yards, depending on size constructed.

6 x 5/8" buttons (in store only)


Frog KAL (pattern by Claire Garland, KAL hosted by Cindy)
Saturdays, 11:30am-12:30pm: February 25, March 4, 18, and 25

Materials:
Needles: US 4 straight needles, or whatever size gives you the pattern gauge. Optional: DPNs in the same size.
Yarn: Small amount of fingering-weight or sport weight or DK yarn in 2 colors (Colors A and C in pattern). (You can really use any weight of yarn.) Optional small amount of mohair or suri alpaca lace-weight to match (Colors B and D in pattern).

Q: How do I join one of the KALs or CAL?

A: You can purchase a membership to one or more of the Craft-alongs here.

 

Q: Is there a fee to join a Craft-along?

A: The cost to join is $30 per KAL or CAL. This includes 4 sessions (in person or virtual), as well as a 15% discount off yarn purchased for your KAL/CAL project.


Q:  Can I use yarn from my stash for the KAL/CAL projects?

A: Yes, you are welcome to use stash yarn for these Craft-alongs.


Q:  Can I use the 15% discount online?

A: Yes, you can contact us via email to request a coupon code. You can also call us during store hours to make your purchase by phone with the 15% discount.

 

Q: Is there a deadline for joining the KALs?

A: No, but it would be nice to have your yarn and be ready to begin on session one.


Q: What if I can’t finish my project by the end of the KAL/CAL session?

A: There is no pressure to work at any particular pace during the KALs.  We would love if you shared a photo of your finished project whenever it is ready!
