Summer Giving Projects
Each season we feature a knitting and a crochet pattern by BIPOC designers, and we select a nonprofit organization to receive a portion of proceeds from those projects. We have chosen The Philipstown Behavioral Hub to be the beneficiary of our Summer Giving Projects. Now through September 30, your purchase of yarn to knit the Cozy Classic Raglan, by Jessie Maed Designs, or crochet the Confetti DK Pullover by Sandra Gutierrez, will help support The Hub in their efforts to provide local access to mental health and addiction rescourses in Philipstown, New York.
Charity Knitting and Crocheting
We invite you to join us in knitting and crocheting items for local charities. Last year we donated over 300 hats to Hudson Valley non-profit Keep It Moving, which distributed them to young people in need.
Now we are knitting and crocheting Knitted Knockers: soft, comfortable prosthetics for breast cancer survivors. Stop by The Endless Skein during store hours to pick up a free kit to knit or crochet Knitted Knockers for a breast cancer survivor. Each kit includes patterns for knitters and crocheters, plus the yarn to make a pair of Knockers. Please note: Knitters must be comfortable knitting small circumferences with DPNs or Magic Loop to make Knitted Knockers.
We also continue to accept blankets for Project Linus -- see below for more details!
