A luxuriously soft silk/cotton yarn dyed in vibrant self-striping colorways, Noro Haruito is as versatile as it is beautiful.

The name Haruito [はるいと] is a word composed of two parts : Haru is the Japanese term for spring and Ito means thread, so Haruito translates as "yarn for spring." Haruito brings to mind the time of year when everything starts to bloom and colorful flowers delight our eyes.

Due to the smooth, silky structure, this yarn is wonderful to wear directly on the skin (containing no wool; only silk, cotton, and nylon). This worsted-weight yarn is ideal for sweaters, summer jackets, summer scarves, and stoles that you can wrap yourself in when it gets cooler in the evenings. It is also a perfect choice for knitting or crocheting a soft baby blanket.
