Sweater Semester with Birgit

In this group class over 16 weeks, work with Birgit on knitting the Framed pullover by Andrea Mowry!

Knitting this fun and colorful top will actually give you tons of knitting mojo! You will experience a little bit of short row shaping, picking up stitches, a cool cast on and bind off, as well as perfecting your stranding technique both in the round and flat! The more projects you knit, the more experienced you are. This one will give you lots of bang for your efforts!

The Framed sweater can be knit as a cute cropped layer piece or as a more traditional sweater length. Arms are also customizable!

Join the lovely Birgit to learn about sweater construction from gauge to yarn choice to finishing! This class is part educational and part knit-along.

Framed is intended to be work with approximately 4-10 inces of positive ease.  The finshed chest size of the sweater ranges from 34.5 inches to 74.25 inches. It is knit at a worsted weight gauge of 20 stitches and 24 rows over four inches in the main stitch pattern. If you purchase yarn for your project from The Endless Skein, you will recieve 15 % off. You are welcome to use stash yarn too!

Enrollment is limited to 8 students.

Sessions are 1.5 hours each and will be held on Tuesday and Saturdays. You are welcome to attend any and/or all of the sessions.
