    Math for Knitters

Posted by Laurie D. on Oct 8th 2024

I attended Math for Knitters with Cindy as the instructor. The class was very informative and well organized. Cindy provided several pages as a handout with specific examples of each task., with the necessary formula to determine the answer. She reviewed all the material on the white board while we solved the problem on our handouts. And for those of you that are not a math whiz Cindy gave extra attention as needed. So if you want to learn how to change sizes of patterns, how to compare yarn weights and determine if you have sufficient yarn to complete a project, this class is for you Bravo Cindy

This was a wonderful class. I learned so much. Calculating how much yarn needed ,calculating gauge, factoring ease, Cindy had practice problems. I feel confident to solve these problems and more after her excellent instruction.

The class showed us how to make gauge calculations and make adjustments to your crafts. This class was well presented and the handouts were helpful and written in a user friendly way. I would highly recommend this class no matter your craft level.

Whenever I use different yarns that are not in the pattern I crossed my fingers and hoped it will fit. Now I am confident that it will fit
