Each season we select a pattern by a featured knit or crochet designer for our Giving Project. We also choose a nonprofit organization to benefit from the project. When you buy yarn to make the featured pattern, we donate a portion of the proceeds to this nonprofit.

For Winter 2026 we are featuring knit designer Kalurah Hudson. Kalurah's Mirkwood pattern is our selection for this season's Giving Project. Some yarns that would work beautifully for this project are Plymouth Homestead, Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed, and British Breeds Aran. 

We have chosen Moms for Moms NYC to be the beneficiary of our Winter Giving Project. Moms for Moms is dedicated to supporting single mothers with the critical pre- and post-natal essentials they need and deserve.
