Natural Dye Workshop II

Learn the art of bundle dyeing! Gail Cunningham O’Donnell of Hudson Highlands Co will teach you how to use natural dye stuffs -- marigold, cochineal and coreopsis flowers -- to create a unique design on a scarf that you have knitted or crocheted.

Date: Saturday, August 19

The session will run from 1:00-3:30.

Dye materials will be provided.

BEFORE CLASS, students will need to purchase two skeins of undyed DK weight yarn and knit or crochet a scarf. A pattern will be provided upon registration. You must return the completed scarf to the store no later then August 12 so that it can be prepped for dyeing.

Dyeing can be messy. Please dress accordingly.

Class Size: 3 students minimum and 8 students maximum.
