In a continued effort to assist in the sustainability of American Wool Farmers across the USA, Brooklyn Tweed has invited a few hand dyers to dye shades of their Shelter base and has named these limited edition colors Forage. The lovely colors in our store were hand-dyed by Primrose Yarn Co. in York, Pennsylvania.
The yarn base is an American Targhee and Columbia Wool blend, sourced and milled in the USA.
Forage is great for colorwork and textured stitch patterns, whether you are knitting or crocheting a sweater. hat, scarf, cowl, or blanket. You'll love the light, breathable warmth of this woolen-spun, worsted-weight yarn.

Recommended Knit Gauge: 4.5-5 stitched per inch on US 7-9 or 4.5-5.5mm needles.
Recommended Crochet Hook: US I-9 to K-10.5 or 5.5 to 6.5 mm.
