Chrysalis Wrap Class with Jake of Kenyarn

Jake Kenyon of Kenyarn leads this hands-on, project-based course on knitting your own Chyrsalis Wrap, one of Jake's own designs. Join Jake for casual conversation, learning a new simple lace stitch, and setting yourself up for success in finishing this wonderful piece.

The Chrysalis Wrap is an easy to knit, top-down shawl featuring a unique array of lace work. This shawl is delicate and airy, and features contrasting yet complementary stripes of a deep rich semi-solid and a lighter variegated. The Chrysalis Wrap is perfect for covering your shoulders on a beautiful spring day or can be worn wrapped.

Materials

The Chrysalis Wrap will require two (2) 100g skeins of fingering weight yarn (C1 in a deep rich semi solid, and C2 in a complimentary lighter variegated).

Needles required are a US 5 on a 22+" cord of your choice.

Skills Needed

Participants should have a basic understanding (but you don't have to be an expert!) of i-cord edging, slipped stitches, and yarnover techniques.
