Carol's Guide to Patty Lyons' Knitting Bag of Tricks

Everyone knows that Carol appreciates learning new techniques. But what she really LOVES is sharing her new knowledge. Currently Carol is absorbed in Patty Lyons' Knitting Bag of Tricks. Join Carol for an overview of this fun and very informative book, as she shares some of her favorite tips and tricks in this hands-on, in-person class.

Choose from Friday, September 29 from 1-3pm OR Saturday, September 30 from 1-3pm.

Materials and Homework

• For this class, you will need approximately 25 yards of DK or worsted weight yarn, with either US 6 (for DK) or US 8 (for worsted) knitting needles of your choice.
• You will also need a gauge swatch for practicing picking up stitches. If you can't find one, then just use your yarn, CO 16 stitches and knit a square in stockinette stitch. (It would be great to block the square.)
• If you already own Patty's book, great -- bring it along. If you would like to purchase a copy from us, you can choose that at checkout.
